Trade Filter

Compare electrician, plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, sheet metal, carpenter, ironworker, elevator, welding, network, and adjacent local-union paths without mixing them into one generic sponsor list.

Metro Filter

Metro boundaries follow the same CBSA geography used elsewhere on Prentice, so a city list can be compared with wage, market-pressure, and local guide pages.

Verification Bar

Public rows require verified status, at least one supporting source, and a usable phone, website, email, or training contact. Uncertain rows stay out of the city list.

Union apprenticeship directory FAQ

What is a local guild?

Prentice uses the reader-facing phrase local guild for the local union, district council, or training trust that can point an applicant toward the apprenticeship path.

Why are some locals missing?

Records without live-confirmed contact paths are held back. Some broad regional councils also need a second pass before they can be mapped confidently to every covered metro.

Can I apply from this page?

Apply through the local union, JATC, training trust, or state apprenticeship sponsor. Prentice helps locate the right office and website; intake rules still belong to the sponsor.

This surface is separate from paid guide checkout and reader entitlement flows. It does not create purchases, tokens, or localized launch authority.
